About Us
Central Maine Audiology is an independent audiology practice with two audiologists. Central Maine Audiology (previously Hearing Evaluation and Rehabilitation, Inc.) was founded in 1982 by Fred Holler, MD and Benjamin Lounsbury, MD. It was established to provide diagnostic audiology services and hearing aid dispensing services for their otolaryngology patients.
The practice has expanded by providing services two days per month at the Specialty Clinics at Rumford Hospital.
In 2008, Bryce Cropper, who had been serving as Director of Audiology since 2002, purchased the practice and is the current owner. Central Maine Audiology has earned the trust of area physicians who refer to us as the provider of choice for audiology and hearing care services.
