Notice of Temporary Closure
We are mindful of each of you during this time of uncertainty. To do our part to protect the community and minimize the potential spreading of the COVID-19 virus, we have made the decision to close our office for in-person patient care, until further notice. We know that some of you will still require hearing aid service and supplies during this challenging time. We have a few options that we hope will allow us to still serve many of you.
- If you need batteries, wax filters, domes or other supplies, please call our office at 782-1160. We are able to process orders and send supplies via US mail.
- If you need to speak with an audiologist, we encourage you to call and schedule a telehealth appointment. If you need hearing aid service, one of our providers may be able to help you to troubleshoot some problems via phone or video conference.
- For those hearing aids that require in-office or manufacturer service, please use our drop box at our Lewiston office. To the left of our entrance door, you will find a drop box slot. Prior to placing hearing aids in the drop box, put them in a sealed Ziploc bag or sealed envelope. Please write your name and phone number on the bag or envelope and leave a description of the problem. If you leave a hearing aid in the drop box, we encourage you to call or email to notify our office. There is no drop box service at our Rumford office. Hearing aids may also be mailed to our Lewiston office at 475 Pleasant St. #11, Lewiston, ME 04240
